By using this website or requesting a service from Quartzen, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or acting with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Service Description

Quartzen provides the following watch repair and servicing work:

• Battery Replacement & Water-Resistance Check — quartz cell change, gasket inspection, case-back reseal.
• Mechanical Movement Full Service — strip-down, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly, and regulation.
• Vintage Timepiece Restoration — end-to-end restoration with period-correct parts sourcing where possible.

All services are subject to initial inspection. We will communicate the scope of work, estimated cost, and expected turnaround before any work begins. Services are available to customers visiting the workshop in Hua Hin, Thailand, and by arrangement for postal delivery.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and a clear description of the issue with your timepiece.
• You confirm that you own the watch or have the owner's authorisation to have it repaired.
• You agree to collect the watch within a reasonable period after completion of the work, or to arrange return shipping at your cost.
• You use this website only for lawful purposes and not in a way that disrupts or damages the website or service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, design elements, and layout — is the property of Quartzen or is used under licence. A limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence is granted to view the content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Copying, reproducing, or distributing website content without written permission is not permitted. Photographic records of restored watches may be used by Quartzen in portfolio or illustrative materials; please let us know at the time of repair if you prefer these not to be used.

6. Pricing and Payment

Published prices are indicative. Final pricing depends on the condition of the watch and the work required, which is assessed on inspection.

• All prices are in Thai Baht (THB) and include workshop labour for the stated service scope.
• Parts required beyond the standard service scope will be quoted separately before procurement.
• Payment is due on collection of the watch or on delivery of the completed piece. We accept cash and bank transfer.
• If you decide not to proceed after inspection, a nominal inspection fee may apply to cover the technician's assessment time.

7. Disclaimers

• Watch repair involves working with aged and sometimes fragile components. While every care is taken, we cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing defects or failures that arise from the condition of the watch prior to service.
• Turnaround times are estimates and may vary due to parts sourcing or unexpected complications discovered during the service.
• This website is provided on an as-available basis. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or continuously accessible.
• Nothing on this website constitutes professional valuation advice regarding the monetary value of a timepiece.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Quartzen's liability for any loss or damage arising from the provision of services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of sentimental value or loss of use, except in cases of our own gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel a repair request before work has commenced without charge. If work has begun, you will be responsible for the cost of work completed and any parts already ordered on your behalf.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a repair if the work falls outside our competence or if circumstances arise that make safe completion impractical.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or our services shall first be addressed through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Thai courts.

11. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement — these terms, together with any written service quotation, constitute the full agreement between you and Quartzen.
• Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full effect.
• No Waiver — failure to enforce any right does not constitute waiver of that right.
• Assignment — these terms may not be assigned by you without our consent.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
